Connecting Dosing Tube To Pipework
12. INLET CONNECTION: Locate the inlet connection that you previously
determined to be the best place to provide untreated water to the feeder.
This will be the higher pressure connection for the system. Select an
orientation for the feeder nipple that will not interfere with any operation of
the pool, and will not be prone to breakage.
13. Drill a 3/8” (10mm) hole on one side of the pipe. TAKE CARE NOT TO
DRILL THROUGH THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PIPE.
14. Place a gasket on the pipe-side of the proper nipple and put the nipple
through the hole in the pipe clamp (Figure 6).
15. Tighten the pipe clamp down enough to compress the gasket but do not
over-tighten.
16. OUTLET CONNECTION: Locate the outlet connection that you previously
determined to be the best place to return treated water from feeder to the
pool return. This will be the lower pressure connection for the system.
Select an orientation for the feeder nipple that will not interfere with any
operation of the pool, and will not be prone to breakage.
17. Drill a 3/8” (10mm) hole on one side of the pipe. TAKE CARE NOT TO
DRILL THROUGH THE OTHER SIDE OF THE PIPE.
