NOTE: If necessary, remove the hose and let water circulate for cleaning.
10.4.1. Draining the fuel tank
Once work is finished and before storing the sprayer, drain all the fuel from the tank. Next prime the priming pump a few times and
turn the engine on until the fuel is completely used up.
NOTE: Only use good-quality and clean gasoline which has been stored for a maximum of 7 days.
10.4. After operating the sprayer
When handling agrochemicals, follow the manufacturer or dealer instructions. Always observe applicable laws and regulations.
1.
Turn off the engine;
2.
Once the engine has cooled down, remove the tank drain cap and drain the agrochemical solution into a proper container;
3.
Remove the pump suction filter located inside the tank and clean it with water;
4.
Reinstall the drain cap, remove the tank cap and fill the tank with clean water to wash inside it;
5.
Start the engine and push the throttle lever to control the engine speed. Let the clean water flow through the pump with the
shutoff valve closed to clean the hose and the pump.
6.
Open the shutoff valve and spray for a few minutes to clean the hose and the spray lance;
7.
Remove the drain cap again to drain the water from the tank;
8.
Repeat this procedure until the tank is completely clean.
CAUTION!
Use only JACTO original parts when maintaining or repairing the sprayer. Spare parts that are not original from
JACTO may damage the sprayer.

Before carrying out any maintenance, place the sprayer on a level surface and make sure the engine is off.
