To stop the engine in any emergency, simply push the engine stop button.
In normal conditions, follow the procedure below to start the engine:

Turn the shutoff valve to the CLOSED position.

8.1. Warm start
If the engine is operated at very high temperatures and after that it is turned off and let cooled down for a short period, it may not
start again when the starter handle is first pulled . If necessary, follow the procedure below:
IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTION
Push the engine stop button before following this procedure. This will prevent the engine from cranking and starting at maximum
speed when the throttle is at the maximum acceleration position. If the engine is started with the shut off valve in the OPEN position,
the agrochemicals may spill on the operator and may also result in injuries.

Push the engine switch.
2.
Turn the choke lever to the OPEN position.
3.
Move the throttle lever to the maximum acceleration position (FAST).
4.
Pull the starter grip 3 to 5 times.
5.
Follow the procedure STARTING THE ENGINE and start it with the choke lever at the OPEN position.
8.2. Operating sprayer at high altitude
At high altitude, the standard air/carburetor fuel mixture will be excessively rich. Consequently, the sprayer performance will drop
and the fuel consumption will increase.
Performance at high altitude may be improved through specific adjustments in the carburetor. If the sprayer is always used at alti-
tudes higher than 1.500 m above the sea level, contact you authorized dealer to have these adjustments to the carburetor made.
Even with proper carburetor injection, the engine power will reduce approximately 3.5% for each 300 m of altitude elevation. The
effect of the altitude on the power will be greater if no adjustment is made in the carburetor.
CAUTION!
Operating the sprayer at a lower altitude than the carburetor was designed for may result in poor performance,
overheat and serious damages to the engine caused by an extremely poor mixture or air/fuel.
