A streak is a line of grass that is not cut. The cause of a
streak can be a damaged blade.
Probable Cause
Remedy
Damaged blade(s).
Replace the blade(s).
The mower turns at a rate that is faster than the mower
can turn and cut correctly. The cutting units do not
overlap around turns or on side hills.
Turn at a speed that will allow the cutting units to overlap.
Change the direction of cut or pattern on the side hills.
The tires compresses the grass before the grass is cut.
Check and adjust the tire inflation pressure.
The blades are not installed correctly.
Check to make sure the correct blade is installed on each
motor.
The mower compresses the wet grass before the grass
is cut.
Cut the grass when grass is dry.
