SYSTEM SWITCH FUNCTIONS
Switch 1 - Equipment Type
Switch 2 - Fan or Reversing Valve
When Switch 1 is OFF
When Switch 1 is ON
Switch 3 - Short Cycle Timer
Switch 4 - Fossil Fuel Mode
Switch 1 sets the equipment type. For conventional heat /
cool equipment, set the switch to the OFF position
(factory default). For heat pump equipment set the
switch to the ON position.
For Gas heat, set the switch to the OFF position (factory
default). For electric heat, set the switch to the ON
position.
For ‘O’ reversing valve, set the switch to the OFF position
(factory default). For ‘B’ reversing valve, set the switch to
the ON position.
For 4 minute short cycle protection, set switch to the
OFF position (factory default). To disable short
cycle protection, set switch to the ON position.
For conventional heat pump equipment, leave
switch in the OFF position (factory default). For
fossil fuel equipment, set switch to the ON
position.
