INSTALLING NEW SEAL IN WASH PUMP
1. Remove the four bolts holding pump to the machine.
2. Hold shaft and rotate impeller counterclockwise to unscrew and remove. Be careful not to damage shaft.
3. Remove the three screws holding retainer ring to the pump housing.
4. Press out shaft and bearings by pushing against threaded end of the shaft.
5. Press crane seal out of pump housing.
6. Install new seal using Permatex # 1 around housing where seal fits.
7. If surface on impeller where seal rubs is cored, either reface or install new impeller.
8. Examine bearings and if they seem rough, replace.
9. Reassemble pump being certain that drip hole in housing is facing down when assembling to machine.
