6.5 Protein contents (%) calculation.
From the HCl volume (ml) consumption on the titration the Kjeldahl Nitrogen (mg)
is calculated:

And, from the nitrogen we calculate the sample protein content:
6.4 Analysis interruption
Press «ESC» to abort the analysis. The proccess is stopped. Press «ESC» to con

firm or «ENTER» to follow with the analysis.
Note
: The analysis interruption due to not neutralized rests left on the collector
will corrupt the following analysis. Run a cleaning operation (See 6.2) before run
-
ning new analysis.

6.6 Printing results.
The PRO-NITRO «A» includes a serial output for printer connection as printer code
4120113 (See accessories).
Printer must be configured as: 2400, No parity, 8 bits, 1 bit stop,
Once the printer is connected, press “PRINT” for the analysis result to be printed.
See 5.1.1 to set the printer operation configuration.
6.7 Storing results on a computer
The PRO-NITRO «A» includes a software to record results on the computer and al
-
lows batch reporting.
After each analysis the PRO-NITRO «A» sends the results to the computer: Analysis
number, date, time, HCl consumption (ml) and the nitrogen detected (mg).
The user can configurate the data sending mode:
• Automatic mode: Once the analyser finishes the analysis, it sends the results to
the computer. According to 5.1.1, configurate the printer as “Continuous mode”.
• Manual mode: Once the analyser finishes the analysis, the user must press the
«PRINT» button to send the results to the computer. According to 5.1.1, configurate
the printer as “Not continuous mode”.
Installation
Connect a serial wiring (See figure) on the RS-232 output from PRO-NITRO «A» to
a computer.
Install the software running the SETUP application from the provided CD.
COM Port
Each time that the software is opened, choose the COM port where the PRO-NITRO
«A» is connected.
