Advanced Chipset Features
Main Section Functions
Configures the chipset, BIOS caching and the AGP Aper-
ture size.
Default & Autodetected Settings
Everything on this screen is an optimized default or is
autodetected.
Setting Options & Constraints
Don’t change the autodetected DRAM settings in the
Advanced DRAM Control subsection unless you know
what you are doing. Incorrect settings can cause system
instability or result in the system not working.
You can the AGP settings in the AGP & P2P Bridge Con-
trol subsection. The default mode is 4X. Change it to 1X/
2X if your display card isn’t a 4X card.
Don’t change the Cacheable settings.
Don’t chnage the Memory Hole setting.
Leave the two Throttling settings as they are.
