Hardware Installation
3.1 Preparation and Inspection
This DP6NS SCSI Motherboa rd, like a ll electronic equipment is sta tic sensitive.
Plea se ta ke the proper preca utions when ha ndling this boa rd. You should a void
sta tic up. If possible, You should ground yourself by touching a meta l ta ble or
your computer fra me. Keep the boa rd in its conductive wra pping until it is
configured a nd rea dy to be insta lled in your system.
For insta lla tion, you ma y need some or a ll of the following tools:

SCSI HDD drive/devices ma nual(s).
‧
IDE HDD drive/devices a nd floppy drive ma nua l(s).
‧
Periphera ls tha t connect to your system's ma nua l(s).
‧
MS DOS diskettes with FDISK a nd FORMAT progra ms.
‧
Medium size fla t bla de screwdriver.
‧
Medium sized Phillips hea d screwdriver.
‧
A 3/16 inch nut driver or wrench.
