4-2. Bleed assembly
Turn the adjusting screw
anticlockwise to dismantle
the bleed assembly.

Be careful not to loose
the valve(33), seal
ring(32) and spring(31).
Replace the gasket with
new one at each disman-
tlement. Pay attention to
a mounting direction of
the spacer(35).
4-3. Diaphragm

Disassembly of dia-
phragm
1) Remove the suction
hose, discharge hose and
bleed hose.
2) Remove the pump head
with a hex. wrench.
3) Turn the diaphragm
to remove it from the
plunger (pump shaft).
Warning
Pay attention not to lose the diaphragm spacer and to apply
correct number of the diaphragm spacer. 0 to several pieces
of the diaphragm spacers are put between the retainer and
plunger to adjust a position of diaphragm. The number of the
spacers mounted depends on a pump model. Some models do
not have spacer.
