Conventional trouble
Trouble reason
Remedy
Oil consumption too eccessive
∙
Clogged air filter (18).
∙
Wrong oil being used, wrong
viscosity.
∙
Oil level too high.
∙
Oil leaks.
∙
Worn piston rings or damaged
cylinder.
∙
Clean air filter (18) or replace
the filtering element (27) if
necessary.
∙
Drain well and replace with a
proper oil.
∙
Fill compressor with oil to the
proper level.
∙
Check and repair.
∙
Have them repaired or
replaced by an authorized IVT
Service Centre.
If the problem cannot be remedied on the basis of the information above, please take the device to an authorized
IVT Service Center.
