Load the rear axle to the values shown in Table 2.16. The weight must not be less than the minimum value indicated by the
manufacturer (Figure 2.16).

Disconnect the control link (1) from the rear axle and raise through its travel. Ensure that the load proportioning valve pushrod
slides properly in its seat and reconnect the link.

Start the engine.

Fully depress the brake pedal and use a feeler gauge to check that the adjustment clearance (0.1 mm) between the load propor-
tioning valve pushrod and the bar is respected.
