Section 2. Replacing the Boards
Item 1. IWB Series
(1) Open the case in the same manner as described in the Section 1 above.
(2) A/D Board P-933

While biting the open portion at the edge of the card spacer by using a pair of long-nose pliers,
pull the board to disassemble from the connector of the Main board XJ2.
y
Loosen the 4 screws of the terminal board XJ2 and remove the cell cord.
(3) Main board P-936
y
Disconnect the connectors of XJ3, XJ4 and XJ5.
y
Remove the hexagonal screw rod by loosening with a 5.5mm-diagonal wrench.
y
Remove the Main board by removing the 3mm nuts at the four corners.
(4) For assembling the Main board, go through the reverse procedures.
(5) For assembling the case’ rear, run the harness and cell cord to XJ3 and XJ4 around the right side
of the hexagonal screw rod before mounting the case’ rear.
(The hexagonal screw rod is equipped so that the spare length of the harness remains at the
case corner gap where it may not be pinched between the cases.)

After replacing the A/D board, perform the scale adjustment following C1 in Test
Mode.

After replacing the Main board, perform the RAM clear following C3 in Test Mode,
scale adjustment C1 and user setup following Setup Mode and Registration Mode.
