About the iES24G Series Industrial Switch
The iES24G series are managed redundant ring Ethernet switches with 16xGigabit ports (10/100/1000Base-T or
100/1000Base-X) and 8x100/1000Base-X SFP ports. With complete support of Ethernet Redundancy protocol,
iRing (recovery time < 20ms over 250 units of connection) and MSTP/RSTP/STP (IEEE IEEE 802.1s/w/D) can
protect your mission-critical applications from network interruptions or temporary malfunctions with its fast
recovery technology. iS5Com’s iES24G series switches provide advanced and IP-based bandwidth management
which can limit the maximum bandwidth for each IP device. The user can configure an IP camera and NVR with
more bandwidth and limit other device’s bandwidth. iS5Com’s iES24G series switch also supports application-
based QoS. Application-based QoS can set highest priority for data stream according to TCP/UDP port number.
All functions of the iES24G series can also be managed centrally and conveniently by Open-Vision v3.0 or above,
as well as the Web-based interface, Telnet and console (CLI) configuration. Therefore, the switch is one of the
most reliable choices for highly-managed and Gigabit Fiber Ethernet application.
