5.10 DIGITAL OUT
With Pin 4 (out), the user has a configurable switching output.
It can be defined as a single switching point (threshold) or a window. Pin 4 is activated when the value (point
or window) is exceeded or not reached (active high or active low depending on the setting).
The switching points can only be placed inside the active, preset measuring field (note SCALE OUT). There is
a hysteresis
for a reliable switching signal.
The window must be larger than 5% of the "end of current measuring range".
5.10.1 DIGITAL OUT
Whether Pin 4 is to be operated as a
threshold
(with a switch point) or as a
window
(window function) is
defined here.
5.10.2 SWITCH POINT
The switch point is selected in mm using the arrow keys. The point must lie within the measuring range
(between start of measuring range Sdc
and end of measuring range Sde
-2x hysteresis
).
