Note:
Use standby mode to reduce power consumption of the digital receiver. To reduce power consumption to zero the user has to switch
off digital receiver using a main power switcher (17) on the rear panel. In that case no activity is possible.
Your digital receiver is equipped with two USB connectors, USB_A (Host) and USB_B (Device). The Built-in USB controller supports
the USB 2.0 standard, with a maximum of 12Mbit/s transmission speed.
9.2. Connecting and external USB 2.0 device
The USB A connector (11) on the front panel is used for connections with devices like a memory stick, USB hard disk drive, USB card
reader, or other devices compatible with the USB mass storage device class.
Below is the list of the messages related to the USB device connection:
USB - Init –
Message is displayed after plugging a USB device
USB - Mounting –
Message is displayed during mounting after correct initialisation is done
USB - Not Formatted –
Message is displayed if USB is not formatted with FAT12, FAT16 or FAT32
USB - Access Fail –
Message is displayed if there is no access to the memory
USB - Init: OK –
Message is displayed if initialisation done correctly
USB - Init: Fail –
Message is displayed if initialisation failed
USB - Removed –
Message is displayed if USB device is removed from the USB connector

Note:
Devices that are not a mass storage device type will be ignored by the digital receiver.
9.3. USB B (Device)
The USB B connector (10) on the front panel is used for connections
with your PC. When connecting the PVR to a PC for the fi rst time, the
receiver will be recognized as a mass storage device and the driver
will be automatically installed. The receiver will be seen as IDL7000
removable storage memory (see picture 48) in Windows Explorer.
Note:
The IDL7000 drive letter in Windows explorer depends of how many
hard disks and memory devices is available in the system at that
moment. If you double-click on the IDL7000 icon, a new window
will be opened with four system fi les. These fi les are used by the
“IDL7000 PC Suite” software for communication with the digital
receiver.
To download the “IDL7000 PC Suite” software, visit the support
section of our web site at www.inverto.tv.
Note:
If the system fi les are deleted or damaged, turn off and turn back on
the PVR. The fi les will be restored automatically.
