- Keep the underbody and cutting blade clean and free of debris. Remove
clippings from the discharge chute.
- Check all nuts and bolts for tightness before operation. After prolonged
use, especially in sandy soil conditions, the cutting blade will become
worn and lose some of its original shape. The cutting efficiency will be
reduced and the cutting blade should be replaced.
- Lubricate the cutting blade after each use to prolong the life span of the
blade and product. Apply light machine oil along the edge of cutting
blade.
Replace the cutting blade
1. Loosen the bolt anticlockwise using the offered wrench and remove it together
with cutting device
2. Replace the cutting device with a new one of the same type.
3. When re-attaching the cutting device onto the spindle, pay attention to correct
alignment. Tighten the bolt clockwise with 16-20 Nm to ensure safe operation of
your product.
4. Replace this cutting device after 50 hours mowing or 2 years whichever is sooner
regardless of condition. If the cutting device is cracked or damaged, immediately
replace it with a new one.
WARNING !
Always switch the product off, disconnect
it from the power supply and let the product cool down before
performing inspection, maintenance and cleaning works.
Maintenance
WARNING!
Wear safety gloves when working on the
cutting device and close to it! Use proper tools to remove debris,
e. g. a wooden stick! Never use your bare hands!
Always use original spare parts for replacement. Only use
original spare parts. Part number is GT 460. Do not attach any
other type of cutting device!
The replacement of the cutting device should be done by
an experienced user! Rework or sharpening blades is not
recommended unless it is done by a repair service or a similarly
qualified specialist!
