Section 9, The Space Heating Module (optional)
Do not operate the Space Heating Module and WaterHeater™ until
water is in the domestic water side of the Space Heating Module
and all trapped air has been bled.
! CAUTION
Do not operate the Space Heating Module and WaterHeater™ until
coolant is in the coolant side of the Space Heating Module and all
trapped air has been bled.
The Space Heating Module should be filled and flushed prior to
operation to remove any foreign debris.
Use only a non-toxic propylene glycol based coolant with additives
generally recognized as safe ”GRAS” by the FDA in the coolant side
of the Space Heating Module.
! DANGER
9.6 Electrical Connection
All field wiring is to be in accordance with CSA Standard C22.1,
Canadian Electrical Code Part l, the National Electric Code, or local
regulations.
! CAUTION
12 VDC
•
Primary DC power to the Space Heating Module should
originate on either a battery direct circuit or after the master
disconnect switch from a dedicated connection on the house
battery bank.
•
The power connection to the module from the power supply is
through the Space Heating Zone Board itself. A 15 amp fuse or
breaker must be included inline from the power source to the
positive connection on the space heating zone board. The
primary power wire gauge must be sized to permit no more
than a 3% voltage drop from the power supply to the zone
board. There are no direct 12 VDC power connections onto the
Space Heating Module itself.
