wlan.associated
Type: getvar
This parameter refers to whether the printer is associated with an access
point.
getvar result Returns “yes” if the printer is associated and “no” if the printer is not
associated with the access point.

Get whether or not the printer is associated to an access
point.

wlan.auth_type
Type: getvar; setvar
This parameter selects the authentication service to be used between the
printer and the access point. Open System and Shared Key are the two
types of authentication services.
getvar result Returns the current authentication type.

setvar choices open, shared. Default = open

Set the authentication type to Shared Key.
! U1 setvar “wlan.auth_type” “shared”
Sets the authentication type to Shared Key after you
turn off and turn on the printer.
wlan.current_essid
Type: getvar
This parameter refers to the eSSID of the network currently associated
with the printer. The eSSID is returned only if the printer is associated
with an access point.
getvar result Returns the eSSID that the printer is associated with in Infrastructure
mode. When the printer is in Ad Hoc mode it returns the stored
eSSID. (For more information on Infrastructure and Ad Hoc modes,
see “wlan.operating_mode” later in this section.)
