CS40 Mobile Computer User’s Manual

Making an Emergency Phone Call

If the SIM card is not installed, the phone indicates that you have no 
service. However, you can make an emergency phone call even if the 
SIM card is missing. 

To make an emergency phone call:

Tap 

Start > Phone

Dial an emergency number, such as 112, 911, 000, 08, 118, 119, or 
999.

Tap 

Talk

.

The call goes through to the appropriate emergency service.
