Mode
Allows user enable or disable PoE function. It will cause all of PoE
ports supply or not supply power.

Mode
There are five modes for configuring how the ports/PDs may
reserve power and when to shut down ports.
Classification mode:
System reserves PoE power to PD according
to PoE class level.
Allocation mode
: allows user to assign PoE power to per port.
Consumption mode
: System offers PoE power according to PD
real power consumption.
Priority mode
: System offers PoE power according to per port
priority setting when power consumption has been over total
power budget.
The default PoE management mode is “
Consumption mode
”.

PD Classifications
A PD may be classified by the PSE based on the classification information provided by the PD. The
intent of PD classification is to provide information about the maximum power required by the PD
during operation.
Class 0
is the default for PDs. However, to improve power management at the PSE,
the PD may opt to provide a signature for
Class 1 to 4
