➤

To remove the existing board:

1.

If replacing the Host Adapter or VGA board, disconnect the external
cable attached to the board.

2.

If replacing the Host Adapter board or Geometry Accelerator board,
remove the FIFO status cable from between the two boards.

3.

Remove the screw securing the board to the chassis.

4.

Disengage the board from the riser card connector; then, remove the
board from the base unit.
