Each camera on the side mount goggle contains three knobs for image adjustment:
1. The upper knob moves the camera vertically.
2. The left knob moves the camera horizontally.
3. The center knob adjusts image focus.
For further image adjustment, the mirrors on the goggles can also be rotated into two positions to adjust for
different interpupillary distances.

Hardware setup:
1. Insert the camera(s) into the camera slot(s) on the goggle and tighten the fixation screws using the
supplied screw driver, until the camera is properly fixated.
2. If monocular, attach a cover into the camera slot in the opposite side of the attached camera.
3. Connect the camera(s) to the computer:
a. If USB – connect the USB cable(s) to the supplied USB hub. Ensure that the hub is powered
through the external power supply.
b. If FireWire – connect the FireWire cable(s) to the PCI Express card in the computer.
c. If used with a rotary chair, the goggle plugs in to the connectors on the chair.
4. Mount a replaceable foam pad on the goggle.
5. Register the side mount goggles as ”Side Mount Monocular” or ”Side Mount Binocular” in the the
VisualEyes™ software, following the instructions in section 2.8:
