Intel SR2100 Chassis Subassembly Product Guide 

3.  Remove the I/O shield and the server board from your server board kit. 
4.  Working from the inside of the chassis, position the I/O shield in the lower rear chassis 

opening. Orient the shield so that the cutouts will align with the corresponding I/O connectors 
on the server board. (See Figure 8.) 

5.  Make sure the metal fingers are on the inside of the chassis and snap the I/O shield into place.

6.  Orient the board so that the I/O connectors on the board are positioned in front of the I/O 

shield. 

7.  Insert the I/O connectors into the I/O shield and lay the server board flat on the chassis floor
