The chosen chassis may or may not have a back panel with matching I/O port cut-outs to accommodate the
rear I/O connectors found on the back edge of the server board.

Most extended ATX server chassis will include a standard sized cut-out on the back panel that allows for an
I/O shield to be installed. Should the I/O shield be necessary, it must be installed into the chassis prior to the
installation of the server board.
