7. Inbetriebnahme
Die Netz- oder Batterieversorgung sind niemals
unter Last ein- bzw. auszuschalten. Die Endstrom-
kreise sind vorher auszuschalten (z.B. Anlage
blockieren)!
Bei der Erst-Inbetriebnahme ist vor dem Einsetzen
der Batteriesicherungen die richtige Batteriepolari-
tät sicher zu stellen!
7.1. Überprüfung der Verbindungen
Vor der Inbetriebnahme des Sicherheitlichtgerätes sind
die Anschlüsse wie folgt zu prüfen:
• Prüfung der BUS- und Datenleitungen auf korrekten
Anschluss und richtige Polung laut Betriebsanleitung
• Prüfung der Anschlüsse von externen Baugruppen gem.
dieser Bedienungsanleitung
• Prüfung des Anschlusses der 24V-Stromschleife
(SL+/SL- am RIF5)
7.2. Isolationsmessung
Gemäß VDE 0100 ist eine Isolationsmessung der End-
stromkreise an den Klemmblöcken X3, X4, X5 vor Inbe-
triebnahme des Sicherheitslichtsystems durchzuführen.
Dazu ist das komplette System freizuschalten und
vor einer unbefugten Einschaltung zu sichern. Erst
nach Abschluss der Isolationsmessung darf das
System wieder eingeschaltet werden.

7. Commissioning
The mains and battery power must never be
switched on or off under load. The final circuits
must be switched off beforehand (e.g. block
system)!
During commissioning, correct battery polarity
must be checked before inserting the battery
fuses!
7.1. Checking the connections
Before the safety lighting device is commissioned,
the connections must be checked as follows:
• Check the BUS and data lines for correct connection
and correct polarity as per the operating instructions
• Check the connections of external assemblies as per
these operating instructions
• Check the connections of the 24 V current loop
(SL+/SL- on the RIF5)
7.2. Insulation measuring
In accordance with VDE 0100, the insulation of the final
circuits on the terminal blocks X3, X4, X5 must be measu-
red before the safety lighting system is commissioned.
This requires the complete system to be isolated
and secured to prevent unauthorised switch-on.
The system can be switched on again only when
the insulation measuring is complete.
