Insulation (ISO) failure
“ISO” failure „+“: short circuit between posi-
tive battery terminal and protective earth
conductor
“ISO” failure „-“: short circuit between nega-
tive battery terminal and protective earth
conductor
Insulation failures can be caused externally
or within a device by all components that
are connected to the battery. (e.g. lumi-
naires in circuit, internal/external LSA 8,
DPÜ/B, etc.).
ISO-Test
Checking the measuring equipment inside
the device for isolation monitoring of the
emergency lighting device and the
circuit.
Not replacing insulation measuring

Isolationsfehler können extern oder
geräteintern durch alle Komponenten
verursacht werden, die mit der Batterie
verbunden sind. (z.B. Leuchten im End-
stromkreis, LSA 8 intern/extern, DPÜ/B,
etc.).
ISO-Test
Überprüfung der geräteinternen Mes-
seinrichtung zur Isolationsüberwa-
chung des Notlichtgerätes und der
Endstromkreise.
Ersetzt keine Isolationsmessung
vor der Inbetriebnahme gem. DIN
VDE 0100!
