3.5.2 Automatic selection of base station by DECT telephone
You can also let your telephone select the base station. To do so, proceed as follows:
1. Press the Menu key
.
2. Using the Arrow keys
, select your way through the menus until you get to
“
Registration menu
” and confirm with the OK key
.
3. You then go to the “
System menu
". Confirm with the OK key
.
4. Press the Right Arrow key
twice up to
“System automatic”
and confirm with
the OK key
.
The telephone stores the setting and automatically logs you on to the system (base
station) with the strongest reception. You then return to the “
System menu
” display. A
system change-over takes place if necessary.
3.5.3 Putting the DECT telephone out of service
To delete the selected system and therefore put the DECT telephone out of service,
proceed as follows:
1. Press the Menu key
.
2. Using the Arrow keys
, select your way through the menus until you get to
“
Registration menu
” and confirm with the OK key
.
3. Then press the Right Arrow key
twice to access the “
Delete Logon
” menu
and confirm with the OK key
.
4. Your are prompted to enter a
four-digit password
using the numeric keys. The
password is set at the factory to
0000.
5. Once you have entered your password, the “
Delete logon?
” prompt appears.
Press the OK key
.
6. The available systems are displayed with their respective serial number. An
asterisk after the system (for example: SYSTEM 1*) indicates which system you
are currently logged on to. Press the Right or Left Arrow key
to select the
appropriate system. The selected system appears on the display; confirm with
the OK key
. The selected system is deleted.
