  About this manual 

This manual describes how to operate the innovaphone IP50, IP52 and IP54 DECT 
telephones. 
Additional information on administration may be found in the VoIP gateway and 
innovaphone PBX manuals available in the download area of the innovaphone Web site 
at www.innovaphone.com. All instructions specified there should be followed carefully 
and the devices should only be used in accordance with these instructions. 
Please check for new versions in the download area.

 Operating instructions 

This manual describes how to operate and administer the IP50, IP52 and IP54 DECT 
telephones. All instructions are described using the keys of the IP52 and IP50. For 
information on which keys to use to operate your innovaphone IP telephone, see the 
overview below.

IP 52, 54 

IP50 

Left Arrow 
key 

The Left Arrow key is used to 

navigate

 in the menu. 

Furthermore, the key 

deletes

 entered numbers or 

letters through a long press, and acts as a 

redial

 key. 

 

 

Right Arrow 
key 

The Right Arrow key is used to open the 

telephone 

book

. Like the Left Arrow key, it is also used for 

navigation

 

 

Menu key 

The Menu key is used to open the 

main menu

 

  

 

  

Consultation 
key 

This key enables use of 

hold and retrieve

 functions. 

 

 

  

Hands-free 
key 

With the Hands-free key, you can conduct a call in 

hands-free mode 

(IP54 only). 

 

 

Dial keypad 
Numeric-, 
Star-,  
Hash key 

Numeric keys

 are used to 

enter

 telephone numbers 

and/or letters.

 

The 

Star and Hash

 keys have 

special 

functions

 for touch-tone dialling.

Volume key 

The Volume keys may be found at the right side of 
your DECT telephone. The keys can be used to 
control the 

volume

 of the loudspeaker once a 

connection has been set up. 

 

 

OK key 

This key is used to mute the microphone or to select 
menus / menu items. 
You can 

switch off

 the IP52 and IP54 DECT 

telephones through a long press on this key. 

 

 

    

Handset key  The Handset key is used to 

set up a call

 or to 

answer and end a call

. You can 

switch

 the IP52 and 

IP54 DECT telephones 

back on again

 through a long 

press on this key.
