STEP 1

Attach the mounting template to the wall with tape

STEP 2

Drill the holes for the XVentBox in accordance with the specifications of the grille style you are 

using.

STEP 3

Afix the wall mount bracket as indicated on the Template. The bracket must be affixed to studs 

or other suitable material that can safely support the weight of the unit. Do not use hollow wall 

anchors.

STEP 4

If using an external drain for condensate, drill a hole as indicated on the template for the 

condensate to drain outside. Make sure to drill the hole at a 3 degree downward angle.

STEP 5

If the anti-lifting bracket hole does not line up with a stud, install a hollow wall anchor.

STEP 6

If hardwiring the unit make sure the junction box and appropriate connections are located in 

the electrical connection area.
