Setting the expansion
The expansion (part number LNK-IO16-EXP) setup is done using the dipswitches on the top side, near the
RS485 connector (J6 BMS). Remember to power cycle the device when the setting is changed.
The dipswitches
corresponding to “Ext”, “Baud” and “Prot”
must be configured to a fixed position.
The dip-switched are numbered in the front from 1 to 4 and the position is as follow:

The “Address”
dipswitches
will need to be configured according to the expansion number, from “1” to”10”.
Expansion addresses will be always consecutive, so if you have 2 expansions, you will use addresses “1” and
“2”, if you have 3 expansions you will use addresses “1”,
“2” and “3” and so on
Address 4 dip-switches configuration is shown for all 10 expansions as follow:
