8-7 Source Modes
The device supports the following source modes:
•
Single-source Mode: shows only the sound source with the highest intensity
(with a crosshair on top). If there are multiple sound sources with the same
or almost the same intensity, they will all be shown.
•
Multi-source Mode: shows multiple sound sources with different intensities.
The sound source with the highest intensity will be shown with a crosshair
on top. Not all sound sources will be shown. For example, if there is a very
strong dominant sound source, very weak sound sources will not be visible
at the same time.
To see weaker sound sources (in either single-source or multi-source mode),
position and rotate the camera so that stronger sound sources are outside the
field of view. You can also use the zoom button to limit the field of view.
8-7-1 Switching Source Modes
By default, the device is set to Single-source Mode and only the sound source
with the highest intensity (with a crosshair on top). Change the device to Multi-
source Mode when attempting to scan multiple sound sources with different
intensities.
Change the source mode as follows:

Using the touchscreen, tap the Quick Access icon to open the quick
settings menu.

Tap the Source Mode icon. Single-source Mode shows as 1 dot and Multi-
source Mode shows as 3 dots.

the Quick Access icon to exit
the quick settings menu.
