To prevent the water-gas exchanger from overheating, at the end of each central heating
(room
thermostat open)
, antifreeze or chimney sweep request, the pump keeps working for a length of time
equivalent to that set with parameter 32.
Central heating
post-circulation
After the burner has been switched off at the end of any type of request, the combustion chamber
is washed and the fan is kept running for 30 seconds at a speed equivalent to half the maximum
set speed.
Sealed chamber
post-ventilation
Safety devices.
With the main switch (S1) ON the pump works for 10 seconds after 24 hours of inactivity.
Pump antilock
If, within 5 seconds from the start of the ignition cycle, the ionisation electrode (E2) fails to detect
the flame on the burner, boiler operation is stopped.
The integrated board makes 3 ignition attempts after which it shuts down and an alarm is displayed
on the boiler panel monitor with the error code “E02”.
To restore boiler operation it must be reset manually by pressing the relative button.
Failed ignition lock
If the flue overtemperature thermostat contact opens
(condensation module ext100 °C)
due to bur-
ning impurities settled on the exchanger
(soots, oxidations and so on)
the functioning of the boiler
will be blocked. Triggering of the safety device is signalled on the boiler panel monitor with error
code “E12”.
To restore boiler operation it must be reset manually by pressing the relative button.
Flue overtemperature safety
thermostat lock
(E6)
To prevent the water-gas exchanger from overheating in the case of a blocked pump or if there is
little water circulating in the primary circuit, when the NTC flow probe (B1) detects an increase
in temperature that exceeds 5°C/second, the burner is switched off and block “b25” appears on the
boiler panel monitor. Restarting is inhibited for 10 minutes.
If the difference in temperature between the flow and return probes is greater than 40°C the burner
is switched off and block “b30” appears on the boiler panel monitor.
NB:
10 boiler restarts will be attempted during the following 10 minutes, after which time, if the
temporary inhibition condition
(b25 or b30)
still persists, the fault becomes a manual inhibition
condition.
The event is indicated on the boiler display with error code "E25" or "E30".
A manual reset, performed by pressing the relative button, is required to restore operation.
Insufficient circulation
Breakage of the flow probe (B1) prevents boiler operation.
Triggering is indicated by error code “E31” or “E36” displayed on the boiler panel monitor.
A manual reset, performed by pressing the relative button, is required to restore operation.
NTC flow probe breakage
(B1)
To prevent the water-gas exchanger from overheating, at the end of each domestic hot water request,
the pump keeps working for a length of time equivalent to that set with parameter 33.
Domestic hot water
post-circulation
If the water overtemperature safety thermostat contact opens
(primary circuit temperature higher than
105°C)
boiler operation is blocked.
Triggering of the safety device is signalled on the boiler panel monitor with error code “E12”.
To restore boiler operation it must be reset manually by pressing the relative button.
