9.2 Inverting the tilt direction
To match the tilt direction of the spotlight, for exam-
ple, to other jointly controlled spotlights:
1) Press the button MENU to call up the setting
menu.
2) Use the button
or
to select the menu item
Tilt Inverse
and press the button ENTER
to call up this menu item.
3) Use the button
or
to define if the tilt direc-
tion is to be inverted (
Yes
) or not (
No
).
4) Press the button ENTER.
5) To exit the menu, keep the button MENU
pressed for more than one second.
9.3 Blackout function
In the absence of a DMX signal, the blackout func-
tion will black out the light and return the moving
head to its mid-position. Always deactivate the
blackout function when operating the WASH-
400LED without DMX control.
1) Press the button MENU to call up the setting
menu.

to select the menu item
Black Out
and press the button ENTER to call
up this menu item.
3) Use the button
or
to define if the blackout
function is to be activated (
Yes
) or not (

).

9.4 Adjusting the dimming behaviour
Four different functions are provided to convert the
DMX signals into LED brightness and thus define
the dimming behaviour.
1) Press the button MENU to call up the setting
menu.

to call up this menu item.
3) Use the button

9.5 Colour balance / white balance
The balance between the three primary colours
red, green and blue may be shifted which will also
change the light colour of combined white light (if
the three colours are used in addition to the white
LEDs). Thus, differences to other spotlights will be
compensated if the WASH-400LED is controlled
together with these spotlights.
To set the correction values:
1) Press the button MENU to call up the setting
menu.
2) Use the button
or
to select the menu item
White Balance
and press the button ENTER
to call up this menu item. The moving head will
go to its mid-position.
3) Use the button
or
to select the colour to be
adjusted:
Red
maximum value of red
Green
maximum value of green
Blue
maximum value of blue
4) Press the button ENTER. The value below the
name of the colour starts flashing.
5) Use the button
or
to set the desired maxi-
mum value (
125
to
255
) and press the button
ENTER to confirm.
Repeat steps 3) to 5), if required.
