the EU and is therefore marked with

Please observe the following items in any case:

The unit is suitable for indoor use only. Protect it
against dripping water and splash water, high air
humidity and heat (admissible ambient tempera-
ture range: 0 – 40 °C).

Do not place any vessel filled with liquid on the
unit, e. g. a drinking glass.

The heat generated inside the unit must be dissi-
pated by air circulation; never cover the air vents
of the housing.

Do not operate the unit or immediately discon-
nect the mains plug from the socket

Applications

This LED spotlight is used for effect illumination,
e. g. on stage, in discotheques and function rooms.
It features a moving head to be panned by 540°
and tilted by 180°. As a light source, 7 extra bright
10 W RGBW LEDs from Cree are used. These
LEDs are able to produce coloured light in the three
primary colours (red, green and blue) and white as
well as combinations of these colours. In addition,
colour transitions and stroboscope effects are
available.

The spotlight can be operated via the optional

remote controls LC-3 or LC-9RTX or a DMX con-
troller (1, 9, 12, 14, 16 or 28 DMX control channels).
However, it can also be operated independently or
in combination with multiple WASH-400LED units
(master

slave mode). An integrated microphone

allows for effects in sync with the music.

4

Installation

Always position the spotlight in such a way to
ensure sufficient air circulation during operation.
Never cover the air vents of the housing.

Always keep a minimum distance of 50 cm to any
adjacent surface.

Set up the WASH-400LED on a solid and even sur-
face. Alternatively, install it upside down, e. g. on a
crossbar. To do so, install the mounting bracket
(14) [e. g. using a stable mounting screw or a sup-
port for lighting units (C hook)] to the crossbar and
then, as shown in figure 3, fasten the mounting
bracket to the base plate, using the two hexagon
socket screws (13). To additionally secure the unit
via a safety rope, fasten the eyebolt (12) to the
base plate at the indicated position.

WARNING Install the spotlight safely and

expertly. When installing it at a place
where people may walk or sit under
it, additionally secure it [e. g. via a
safety rope attached to the eyebolt
(12). Fasten the safety rope in such a
way that the maximum falling dis-
tance of the unit will not exceed
20 cm].

If the unit is to be put out of operation
definitively, take it to a local recycling plant
for a disposal which is not harmful to the
environment.

WARNING The unit uses dangerous mains volt-

age. Leave servicing to skilled per-
sonnel and do not insert anything
into the air vents; inexpert handling
may result in electric shock.
