2) Zum Abhören eines Eingangskanals die Taste PFL
(13) des entsprechenden Eingangskanals drücken.
3) Den Umschalter (5) auf Position PFL stellen,
wenn ein Eingangskanal abgehört werden soll. In
dieser Position zeigt das VU-Meter (4) den Sig-
nalpegel des mit der Taste PFL (13) angewählten
Kanals an.
Den Umschalter auf Position OUTPUT stellen,
wenn ein Summenkanal abgehört werden soll.
Das VU-Meter zeigt dann den Ausgangspegel
des mit der Taste (16) angewählten Summen-
kanals an.
4) Mit dem Fader (18) des Monitorkanals die ge-
wünschte Kopfhörer-Lautstärke einstellen.
ACHTUNG: Stellen Sie die Kopfhörerlautstärke
nie sehr hoch ein. Hohe Lautstärken können auf
Dauer das Gehör schädigen! Das menschliche
Ohr gewöhnt sich an große Lautstärken und emp-
findet sie nach einiger Zeit als nicht mehr so hoch.
Darum eine hohe Lautstärke nach der Gewöhnung
nicht weiter erhöhen.
5.3 Durchsagen über das DJ-Mikrofon
Ist die Taste ON/TALKOVER (9) gedrückt, werden
bei Mikrofondurchsagen über das DJ-Mikrofon die
Pegel der Kanäle CH 1-CH 4 um 12 dB abgesenkt.
5.4 Fernstarten von Plattenspielern und CD-
Spielern
An Kanal CH 3 und Kanal CH 4 angeschlossene CD-
Spieler bzw. Plattenspieler können über das Misch-
pult ferngestartet werden. Dazu muß der entspre-
chende Steuereingang des Gerätes an Kanal CH 4
mit der 3,5-mm-Klinkenbuchse (29) des Mischpultes
verbunden werden. Das Gerät an Kanal CH 3 wird
an die Buchse (30) angeschlossen.
Durch Drücken der jeweiligen START-Taste (11)
wird ein Schalter geschlossen und startet dadurch
den CD-Spieler bzw. Plattenspieler. Wird die START-
Taste wieder gelöst, öffnet der Schalter, und das
angeschlossene Gerät stoppt.

the VU meter (4) will show the signal level of the
channel selected with the PFL (13) button.
Adjust the selector switch to the OUTPUT position
to monitor a master channel. The VU meter will
then indicate the output level of the master chan-
nel selected with the button (16).
4) Adjust the desired headphones volume with the
fader (18) of the monitor channel.
CAUTION: Do not adjust the headphones to a high
volume. Permanent high volumes may damage a
person´s hearing! The human ear gets accustomed
to high volumes which do not seem to be that high
after some time. Therefore, do not further increase
a high volume after getting used to it.
5.3 Announcements via the DJ microphone
The levels of the channels CH 1-CH 4 are decreased
by 12 dB during microphone announcements via the
DJ microphone if the ON/TALKOVER button (9) is
pressed.
5.4 Remote start of turntables and CD players
CD players resp. turntables connected to channel
CH 3 and CH 4 can be started remotely via the mixer.
The corresponding control input of the unit at chan-
nel CH 4 must be connected to the 3.5 mm jack (29)
of the mixer. The unit at channel CH 3 is connected
to the jack (30).
By pressing the corresponding START button (11),
a switch latches and the CD player resp. the turntable
is started. If the START button is disengaged, the
switch opens and the connected unit stops.
