Confirming
Connection to
Additional
Systems
Once the LLM has started confirm that the NX1010 series is connected to
shared storage and other NEXIO nodes. If the LLM does not start
automatically, start if from the shortcut located on the desktop. If the LLM
starts successfully, the LLM will see other nodes in the SAN indicating that
the Ethernet network is functioning correctly and the SAN’s physical disk(s)
indicating that the Fibre Channel network is operating correctly.
If no active NEXIO nodes can be seen:
Check to see if the light is on.
Verify that the other nodes in the same SAN are operational.
Check your Ethernet connections.
Verify that the IP address is in the same range as other nodes on your
NEXIO LAN.
If the physical disk cannot be seen:
Confirm that the NX1010 series node can see the SAN’s drives using
the Windows Device Manager.
