Chapter 2: Installation
To achieve levels other than those accessible by jumper settings, you
can use the Analog Audio Output Level Offset parameter. For more
information, see
“Analog Audio Output Level Offset” on page 25 .
Setting Jumpers for Balanced/Unbalanced AES Input
Follow this procedure to set the BAL / UNB jumpers for either a
balanced or unbalanced AES input on the DAC6800
+
BCA4 or
DAC6800
+
BCA4Z module.
1. Locate the jumpers BAL / UNB on the module.
See Figure 2-1 on page 10 for the location of the jumpers.
2. Place a jumpers on pins 1 and 2 to set the module to Balanced AES
input, or pins 2 and 3 to set the module to Unbalanced AES input.
See Figure 2-10 .
Do this for both jumpers. Both jumpers must be set identically to
correctly change the signal path.
