SPECIFICATIONS

PRIMARY GUARD

THE MATRIX GAS LOG FIRE IS SUPPLIED WITH A PRIMARY GUARD FOR YOR PROTECTION.

THE PRIMARY GUARD MUST BE FITTED WHEN THE UNIT IS OPERATING

THE GLASS FRONT OF THE APPLIANCE IS EXTREMELY HOT WHEN THE UNIT IS RUNNING AND 

SEVERE BURNS MAY RESULT THROUGH CONTACT WITH THE GLASS  IF THE PRIMARY GUARD 

IS NOT FITTED. ADDITIONALLY A SECONDARY FIRE SCREEN MAY BE APPROPRIATE WHEN 

SMALL CHILDREN OR THE INFIRM ARE IN THE VICINITY OF THE APPLIANCE.

WARNING:  DO NOT MODIFY THIS APPLIANCE!

Fitting the Primary Guard.

  Ensure the appliance is off and cold before attempting to remove the guard.

The primary guard fits over the door frame, then drops slightly and locks into place. No screws or fixings 

are required. (See Below)

The Fascia has locating 

pins for the guard.

Corresponding locating 

slots on the door guard.

Align

 the guard taking care 

not to mark the fascia

Push in and let the guard 

drop slightly to lock into 

position.

Once located the guard 

should be square and level.
