TRANSMISSION (STARTING/DRIVING) *
Gear selection of automatic
transmission
P: Parking gear
During parking, park the vehicle
completely stably at first and then switch
the shift lever to this gear.
Switch the shift lever to P gear and then
pull up the parking brake lever to prevent
the vehicle from sliding during parking.
R: Reverse gear
During reversing, park the vehicle
completely stably at first and then switch
the shift lever to the reverse gear.
N: Neutral gear
The neutral switch can be selected when
the driver tends to park the vehicle briefly
without leaving the vehicle.
D: Automatic direct gear
D gear is for normal use and can be
applied for vehicle start at any time. The
automatic transmission can automatically
realize shifting within 1
st

gears
according to the vehicle driving condition.
2: 2
nd
gear
The automatic gearshift between 1
st
gear and 2
nd
gear of the transmission is
available. Please shift it to 2
nd
gear when
driving on a long slope or under poor road
condition.
L: 1
st
gear (fixed-gear)
Please select L gear when driving on a
slope at a low speed.
Note:
When the vehicle equipped with the
reverse radar is shifted to the reverse
gear, the radar alarm will beep once.
Note:
It is prohibited to perform manual
downshifting forcibly when the
engine speed is higher than 4,000 r/
min.
Note:
It is prohibited to make the vehicle
slide at neutral gear during driving.
