〈Adjusting the wind shield〉

The manner in which grass cuttings flow into the bucket
changes depending upon the condition of the grass. Cut
some grass and make adjustments as necessary.
!
The manner in which grass cuttings flow will change ac-
cording to the adjustments made.
1. Turn the installation knob on the front cover in the coun-
terclockwise direction to loosen it, and open the cover by
lifting it upwards with your hands.
2. Hold the nuts and springs on both sides of the top of the
cutter cover in both hands, and move them forward and
backward.

Move the wind shield toward you if the grass is wet, the
running speed of the mower is slow, or the rotation of the
blades is slow.

Move the wind shield away from you if the grass is dry, the
running speed of the mower is fast, or the rotation of the
blades is fast.

Be sure to stop the engine and disengage the
main clutch and blade clutch.
