Comments on the Cutter Module
IER 540 Printers equipped with a
cutter
, can be configured to
automatically separate the printed documents from the stock.
IMPORTANT :
Cutting Self-Adhesive Labels:
Make sure that cutting takes place on the
web, i.e. on the silicone backing part of the
media. Otherwise, glue from the labels could
adhere to the cutter blade and cause blade
jamming.
Cutting Media Presenting a Line of
Perforation between the Individual Labels:
Make sure cutting takes place after the line of
perforation and not on the line (see Figure
below), to avoid jagging of the cutting blade.
