6.6 SiS IDE Driver Installation 

To install the 

SiS IDE 

driver, please follow the steps below. 

Insert the Utility CD that came with the motherboard into the system CD drive. 

Open the 

X:\???\IDE\R204a\

 directory (where 

X:\

 is the system CD drive 

and 

???

 is the appropriate motherboard model number) and double-click the 

setup.exe 

installation file to initiate the installation.   

The 

Choose Setup Language

 screen appears (

preferred setup language and click
