Introduction
This chapter provides information for troubleshooting NAS-4100 and helping
you to isolate a failure to the power supply, the case fan, the LCD module, the
hard disks, and the main board. A troubleshooting guide is also provided; it lists
possible problems, along with probable causes, and recommended actions on
how to correct each problem.
Who Should Perform Repairs
Only qualified service personnel should remove and replace any components of
NAS-4100. Repairs to the NAS-4100 are limited to the repair level identified in
the following paragraph.
Repair Level Supported
The NAS-4100 has the following replaceable components:
The NAS-4100 main board
The front panel assembly, including the LCD module
The top cover
The case fan
The power supply
The drive tray
The hard disk
