Overview
The NAS-4100 can be disassembled into the following assemblies:
The NAS-4100 main board
The front panel assembly, including the LCD module
The top cover
The case fan
The power supply
The drive tray
The hard disk
Tools Required
The tools you will need to disassemble or reassemble the NAS-4100 is listed as
below:
One number 102 Phillips-head screwdriver
One number 107 Phillips-head screwdriver
One diagonal pliers (for cutting the cable tie)
Caution: Observe ESD (electrostatic discharge) precautions when
disassembling and reassembling the NAS-4100 and when handling any
of the components of the NAS-4100.
System Disassembly and Reassembly
Use the following procedure to disassemble the NAS-4100, reassemble it in
reverse order. It is recommended that you follow this disassembly procedure
in the order presented.
Note: Before you begin to disassemble the NAS-4100, make sure that
the system has been shutdown and the power cord is removed.
