5.2.1. Laying diagram
As an example for a heat pump TERRA 8 S/W with
4 pipe circuits, distributor connection in the cellar

In the area of the pipe junction the pipes must be
insulated to a length of 2 m
-
The brine manifold must be insulated using mate-
rial suitable for cooling. No zinc-plated pipes can
be used.

Minimum distance of the lines of 1 m to the water
and drain pipes as well as to the walling.

Wall ducts must be insulated and watertight.
-
Place a warning tape approx. 0.5 m over the pipes.
-
Draw up a laying plan and take photos.
-
The distributor connection can also be undertaken
outdoors in a pit.
5.3. Brine depth probe
5.3.1. Description
In this system, soil probes are used for heat absorp-
tion in the soil. These are made of plastic piping
with a special plastic head. This evaporation system
requires the smallest base area for the soil evapora-
tors. The borehole diameter is 125 mm, the borehole
depth and probe length depends on the heat pump
size. The brine medium circulates through the plastic
pipes. The heat exchange between the brine medium
and the refrigerant takes place in the evaporator set
(stainless steel plate heat exchanger).
The following is required to connect the brine circuit:
brass distributors with shut-off valves, safety valve,
pressure gauge, expansion vessel, thermometer and
brine circulation pump.
The fl exible connection hoses provided must be
installed to prevent the transmission of noise. The
connection lines between the distributor and
heat pump are set up on-site, however zinc-plated
pipes must not be used.
5.3.2. Application range
Suitable for all heat pumps type TERRA .. S/W(H).
