Use fl exible connection hoses.
3.1. Installation
The installation of the TERRA heat pump must be
undertaken in a frost-proof room by an approved
specialist company. Whilst doing so, the room tem-
perature must be between 5°C and 35°C.
With regard to the installation room requirements
please observe EN 378 Part 1 and 2.
Installation in wet rooms, in rooms at risk from dust or
explosions is not permitted.
In order to avoid structure-borne sound transmis-
sions, the TERRA heat pump must be installed on
a horizontal, level and weight-bearing surface (con-
crete plate or similar). In the case of fl oating screed,
the screed and the impact sound insulation must be
recessed around the heat pump to ensure low noise
levels when the heat pump is operating.
The applicable laws, regulations and standards must
be observed, in particular EN 378 Part 1 and 2 as well
as BGV D4.
The fl exible connection hoses for heat pump fl ow and
return, as well as for brine inlet and outlet, are used
to avoid the transmission of noise via the piping. The
connection hoses must not be bent.
For a horizontal installation of the TERRA heat pump,
adjustable feet are installed in the columns.
A distance of 60 cm must be maintained at
the front and on the right-hand side of the
heat pump (see the diagram below).
