6.2.1 Cables
IDK has a large selection of Premium HDMI cables, flexible HDMI cables, high-quality long cables, and
conversion cables.
Use the correct cable depending on the system configuration.
For 4K format video, the maximum TMDS data rate (transmission speed) is 18 Gbps. If a high-speed HDMI
cable that supports up to 10.2 Gbps rate is used, video cannot be displayed stably. Select an appropriate 18
Gbps high-speed cable depending on the 4K format.
The maximum distance may change depending on cable type and characteristics of source and sink devices.
