How to: Power Cycle Kiosk
Overview
Power cycling is the process of switching power off and then back on again. It is
important to wait a few moments after switching off for current retaining devices to
dissipate stored energy therefore ensuring all electronic devices are cycled.
The kiosk has a mains power switch located inside and accessed by opening the
right hand side door.
Mains power switch
1. Open the kiosk right hand door using the
security key in the lower of the two locks.
2. Identify the power point in the base of the
kiosk frame as shown in the photo below.
3. The kiosk mains power is the switch to the
left of the female power socket. To power
cycle, switch the power off,
wait 10
seconds
then switch back on again.
