Installation and Servicing
75 PUMP HEAD REPLACEMENT (Wilo and CP)
1.
Refer to Frame 52.
2.
Remove the casing front & bottom panel.
Refer to Frames 44 & 45.
3.
Drain the boiler. Refer to Frame 72.
4.
Swing the control box down into the
servicing position. Refer to Frame 46.
5.
Disconnect the electrical lead from the
pump.
6.
Remove the 4 Allen screws retaining the
pump head.
7.
Remove the pump head.
8.
Fit the new pump head.
9.
Reassemble in reverse order.
10.
Refill the boiler. Refer to Frame 31
11.
Check operation of the boiler. Refer to
Frame 52.
74 DHW PLATE HEAT EXCHANGER REPLACEMENT (WILO AND CP)
1.
Refer to Frame 52.
2.
Remove the casing front & bottom panel.
Refer to Frames 44 & 45.
3.
Drain the boiler. Refer to Frame 72.
4.
Remove the 4 screws securing the rear
support plate and withdraw the plate. Refer
to Frame 70.
Note.
The M4 screws fit the casing and the
self-tapping screws fit the plastic pump
and valve housings.
5.
Remove the 2 Torx screws (allen screws on
the CP waterset) securing the plate heat
exchanger from the valve and pump
housings.
6.
Raise the RH side of the heat exchanger,
lower the LH side through the bottom of the
boiler and remove.
7.
Fit the new heat exchanger, using the new
gaskets supplied.
8.
Reassemble in reverse order ,ensuring
correct location of screws in the support
plate and that tabs on the pump and valve
housings engage in slots.
9.
Refill the boiler. Refer to Frame 31.
10.
Check operation of the boiler. Refer to
Frame 52.
